Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I am so ready for the Christmas season. Although i have no ideas about gifts for everyone. But i have been enjoying the Hallmark Christmas movies that started last week.

Changes in the Ashmore family...... Many of you have heard Katie is now an Ashmore again. She is exploring life in my hometown of Marble Falls. Lil Michael has moved back home with us in San Antonio. (We are adjusting to the food bill.) I got a new suv (Lincoln MKX) and i am loving it! Michael recently purchased one of his dream items. A coca cola machine! So it is now in the kitchen. So when we want something to drink we all have to pay .50 cents. We have decided this will be our new vacation fund. And i am redesigning the kitchen in vintage coca cola theme. I will post when i am closer to having it pulled together.

Oh and thanks to the guys i am now hooked on the amc tv show Walking Dead. And i will randomly wake up and ask Michael weird zombie questions!

Life continues on and we are just trying to enjoy each day and what it brings us.

Chris, JJ and the kids had a great time on the boat at Lake Waco. Katie & Jesse joined us for a few hours. Daddy's boat had problems and we had to tow it back to shore. The kids loved driving the boat.

My Mom's Birthday

We all went up to Waco to surprise my mom for her birthday. JJ made the great cake.

Patrick's Graduation

Patrick Ryan's Graduation. We were all excited that his school made arrangements for Steven to be live via the internet from Afganistan at the graduation. We would occaisionly get to see him on the big screen. And when Patrick walked the stage, Steven was on the screen. Steven's wife Sevina and Lenny were able to come to the celebration.

Spring Break 2011

Ok... So i know it is mid May and i am just now updating with the spring break trip. We went to East Texas this year and had a fun time camping, riding the Rusk Railroad and even travelled into Louisana for a quick visit. We also purchased bikes to use while camping. And we really have fun with the bikes.

While we were in Waco, it was my Aunt Dot's birthday. So my mom and i decorated a cake just for her. We all had a fun time at my parents - opened Christmas gifts, watched the kids play with their toys and enjoyed a great dinner out! No clean up!!

We got to visit with a few of my cousins and their families early in December. It was a great time full of stories and laughter!
