Merry Christmas 2012

We had a great time this year playing games, watching Christmas movies and eating good food!  Melody grace sleep through opening gifts.  But she enjoyed her baby DVD.  And we enjoyed playing with her.

Meet Melody Grace Prather

Katie was blessed with a wonderfully amazing and beautiful baby girl on October 5, 2012 at 7:11 PM, 7 pounds, 19 inches.  Melody is absolutely amazing!  She has stolen our all hearts!  Katie is doing great, she is so tender and i have loved to sit back and watch her with Melody.

Katie and Davey Tie the Knot

Katie and Davey were married on May 19, 2012.  It was a simple wedding in Spicewood overlooking Lake Travis at Davey's Parent Home.  It was very touching to see them take their vows and start the new little family adventure.

Katie is doing great!  

 She said that she has never felt so sick and yet been so HAPPY!

We have all been very nervous the last few weeks.  But the last two doctor appoints have been great!

December 2011 ReCap

New Years Eve we sent the afternoon at Palmetto State Park riding our bikes.

Michael ended the year with hunting with my dad and nephew Sean up in Waco, while i spent the four days watching movies and hanging out at the house! A little mini vacation for me!

We enjoyed playing games on Christmas Day.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I am so ready for the Christmas season. Although i have no ideas about gifts for everyone. But i have been enjoying the Hallmark Christmas movies that started last week.

Changes in the Ashmore family...... Many of you have heard Katie is now an Ashmore again. She is exploring life in my hometown of Marble Falls. Lil Michael has moved back home with us in San Antonio. (We are adjusting to the food bill.) I got a new suv (Lincoln MKX) and i am loving it! Michael recently purchased one of his dream items. A coca cola machine! So it is now in the kitchen. So when we want something to drink we all have to pay .50 cents. We have decided this will be our new vacation fund. And i am redesigning the kitchen in vintage coca cola theme. I will post when i am closer to having it pulled together.

Oh and thanks to the guys i am now hooked on the amc tv show Walking Dead. And i will randomly wake up and ask Michael weird zombie questions!

Life continues on and we are just trying to enjoy each day and what it brings us.
